Fair Food Challenge and  Melbourne University’s Sustainable Campus team have partnered to organise a Follow Your Waste Tour.  You might know where most of your food comes from, but have you wondered where it goes? Have you ever been curious to see what initiatives are being taken to minimise food waste in and around Melbourne University? From the composting sites on campus to the Closed Loop Organics Digester underneath Union House, you can join this walking tour and see the various ways that your food waste is being managed for yourself.

Interested in waste management on a larger scale? After the walking tour we will see what happens to your general waste and recycling later while visiting the Bulla Resource Recovery and Recycling Facility

Meet outside 215 Grattan Street, Carlton VIC at 9am, 17th of May.

Wear sensible, weather appropriate clothing (closed shoes are a must, and long sleeves and pants are advisable) as we will be visiting and walking around industrial sites.

The tour is free but bookings essential. Please book here.
